Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has condemned the attack and assured citizens that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage. “The cowardly attack will not shake our resolve. The yatra will go on as planned, and we will ensure it remains secure,” he said during a press briefing.
The Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB), responsible for overseeing the pilgrimage, has also appealed to devotees to have faith in the system and continue preparations for the yatra, which is scheduled to begin in late June.
